It's a $hit society that we even have to have these concerns and this conversation isn't it?
In reality, just show it has nothing in of value and disable it so it can't be stolen - something very visual like the steering wheel would be best - but not the most practical solution. I think snap-off wheels are pretty good in that respect. Annoying thing is, if someone wants in, they WILL try and still mess your stuff up in the process, irrelevant of whether they get to drive the car away, you'll still be left with damage to fix and the cost!
Plus some criminals are so dumb, would they even look in and notice no steering wheel!
Anyone seen the old Mr. Bean episode like this?
Phil's offer to store at his garage is really sound, and if you're that worried, I'd take him up on that. A wheel clamp ain't a bad investment too.
Phil: While he's away, try and sort out those mahooosive headlights!

Thanks for all your comments guys, much appreciated. And cheers for the offer of the garage phil
Unfortunately I'm leaving in about 5 minutes so isn't really time of any big stuff or moving it, checked the car this morning and it's not been touched so they may have only been on the look out for 1 night (I'm hoping)
Anyway, I've left the key with the Mrs while I'm away and she'll pop down and check nothings happened to it so it's just a case of crossing fingers and toes now

i would personally park it somewhere else, even if it's the other side of the city - just somewhere where it is either more public by shop cctv etc. or in a better housing area. as long as your not blocking anyone's drive or obvious usual parking spot, i think it would be safer there for the weekend.

I tried to 'ban by email address' this morning (so they can't come back) but it wasn't working - messaged indigo to look into it.
Which ban method did you use, mec?
