This is the main ECU is it?

Do you want switched live or permanent live?
Page 11-18 and 11-19 of the service manual.
Pin D1 should be a permanent live.
Pins A7-A8 should be switched live when the ignition is on/engine running???

NB: Someone else confirm what I've said about A7-A8 please, before you take that as gospel...

Not sure, I've grounded it and I wire it directly to the battery positive aswel which I'm hoping is gonna do the job to power it ..

Just want to confirm is the vss wire blue with white strip and on the blue plug which goes into the ecu??? It's all I got left to do.

Terminal B10 according to those pages in the manual.

EDIT:
Ignore that - I've been looking in the 4th gen manual and just realised you've got a 5th so ignore all pin references!!!

Cheers wurlycorner, the fact that you took your time out is much appreciated still. Can't believe it was that simple in the end. Might upgrade some of the wiring tomorrow for piece of mind, hopefully it won't blow up on me or anything like that.

Sorry it was useless help though

Glad yo've got it sorted - well done!

Be great if you could post up what you did (with pics?) in case anyone else comes up against the same thing?

Yea I will do a little write up, and take a few pics when I upgrade the +v wire to the battery as I'm not happy with it and want something abit better.
