Not sure what there qualifications are though, don't want any old wrench monkey getting their hands on my lude.

Thought it was time for an update as we're halfway through the year (ish)
wurlycorner wrote: UKDM
Get the roof, boot, bonnet and pass side rear arch resprayed again (paint's sunk a bit and it pisses me off) - not yet
Fit one of the sets of EL dials I've had for about 3 years - nope
Fit nuckleustylz chip that I've had for 2 years - nadda
Swap the JDM OEM manifold into it off my JDM - ditto
Get the stainless back box replaced/repaired - get the theme?
NONE OF THIS DONE AND IT'S OFF THE ROAD WITH NO MOT :(

JDM
Finish rebuilding the car after the respray - nearly (scope extended so I don't feel so bad about that)
17" rims - YEP! :D
Braided brake lines - purchased, front fitted
ATR or NSX calipers and 300mm discs - atr calipers fitted, waiting cash for discs then re-build calipers at same time
Replacement (complete) exhaust system - YEP! :D
Lowered - Nope, waiting polybushing
Front/rear lips - Nope
Upgrade the crap speakers - new speakers here, waiting fitting, also got a replacement 6x9 for the back ready to fit
Fit one of the other sets of EL dials I've had for about 3 years - take a guess?
Engine bay dressing - does buying reservoir socks count? (not fitted yet btw!)
Add the few more JDM toys this one doesn't already have ;-) - no progress here and there now won't be this year I suspect...
Keep fruitlessly searching for the black/red option OEM interior - Grrr... nope

So one that wasn't on that list for the JDM is new side skirts - Mugen sides obtained  8-) on an IOU  waiting paying, minor repair, paint and fitting

Ooh update time, is it?
jjmartin349571 wrote:I'm sending a truck to go get my Prelude back from my Dad's house Thursday. I have 10 days off over Easter, I plan to replace the ARB brackets on my Scirocco so that I can get an MOT & tax on it ASAP, then spend the rest of my hols sorting the Prelude. The urgent to do list is replace O/S upper wishbone, replace N/S outer CV boot, rear caliper and remove whatever is spliced into my ECU loom as it's making the car run too rich (maybe  ). After those bits are done I'll take it in for it's MOT, and hopefully get it back on the road. I miss my lude loads, it genuinely makes me sad that it's been a bit neglected since winter started :(

I've been putting all this work off due to the weather so far, but I'm going to buy some thermals to put on under my boiler suit, hopefully I'll be nice and toasty and up for some work!!
I have done none of the above, bar the necessary work to get an MOT on the Scirocco

True that! And I've had it moved to my new house too

Right, mission for today then - the OSF upper wish bone is coming off to have a new ball joint fitted.

The UCA is now off :D I'll be passing it onto my mechanic friend to remove the ball joint as I don't have a vice at home.

Update time?

I'd like to say she'll be on the road by the end of January, but that might be pushing my luck.
Well I did finish it, though not quite by January
