Time travel...

Post by wurlycorner » Mon Jun 10, 2013 8:29 am

Kept, forgetting to post this.

Last week the clock in the jdm went doolaly. I was running a bit close for getting over to the porka on time for the mot so was glancing at the clock. All of a sudden it looked like I wasn't going to make it in time, then I realised the clock was about 15 mins fast. Strange, cause it hadn't been when I used the car the previous afternoon :?

A couple of mins later I glanced over again and the clock was now advancing itself (minutes clocking forward). I gave the adjustment knob a twiddle left/right (hr/min) thinking that would stop it but it had no effect. Pressing the knob did zero the clock but it kept advancing as before. After it had gone round a couple of times, it stopped for about ten mins, then had another short spell, then went back to normal again. It's been fine since.

Anyone else had this?

Any thoughts on cause/possible impending doom???

(writing this on a train in to work... Very strange feeling after 3 months off! :? )

Sorry about that pal.

In the future I actually own your car and convert it to a future-past vessel. This hasn't happened yet but I got a few reports from 2043 about some space-time problems. I guess the interference is having an effect here since I came back.

Donald is lieing about time travelling he isn't a time traveller he is from another dimension people don't believe him this world ends by 2030 when the human race acting as a virus expands exponentially using up all the earths resources finally turning on itself.

That's what I assumed, but it hadn't been touched before it started doing it, it turned left/right and srpung back to the centre ok when I operated it and it had no effect on stopping/starting the clock racing away
Wondering if there's some dirt built up on the board and it tracked across.

Hasn't done it again since, so I'll just have to keep monitoring it I guess...

I'm just pleased either way that this thread has allowed Donald to discolose the secret desire to own a 4th gen that's been burning away inside him up until now...
