Last time they were that size (1.5l turbo in the '80s) they were pushing out 1,000 - 1,500 bhp, so displacement certainly isn't all things to all men in all situations... :D

Only for qualifying as they only had to complete a couple laps, during the races they were throttled back to around 650hp for longevity.

F1 leaves me cold and this is just another reason to go outside and do something else.
