I didn't say I was getting one. But I had to choose the 3 most appealing Fords, they would be it :D

Im not running a cold air intake as of yet and my intake temps were as high as 61c today. My filter is located directly behind the radiator but i am planning a CAI soon. The car does feel like it bogs down a bit as soon as you hit the gas and this could be one of the main factors.

Anybody recorded their IAT's?

What PSI are you running?
I highly doubt a cold air intake will make much difference with a supercharger. The charger heats up air too quick.
But of course i dont know and some engine react differently.

All the research I've seen (Kenny Bell) suggests that CAI are a waste of time, Roots chargers like ours prefer a short but wide volume intake tract. Having said that your supercharger sits very close to the front of the car compared to my H22 JRSC near the firewall, your's would be no longer than my short ram intake. By the time we go for cold air in the usual spot down in the bumper well it's too long.

Thats right, I could with the rad moved over create a CAI thats approx half a metre long. After speaking with a few people with CAI on JRSC civics they said their IATS are never 5c more than ambient, if thats the case I could lower my intake charge as much as 30c on a hot 25c day. They reckon with my current set up the boosted intake temps could be well over 100c which could start backing off my timing and reducing power. Everything under the bonnet is rediculously hot so maybe an underboot mounted radiator would massively reduce underbonnet temps, help out the weight distribution a little and I could then block off a lot of the front grill to aid aerodynamics...perhaps thats for another day..
