Any plans on adding a vide out? Or someway of exporting the data to an external screen? I think this would sell like hot cakes if so.

Adding a video out is not an easy task as it would require both hardware and software modifications and a different case (shell) which would take us back on the drawing board, not to say it would greatly raise the cost of the device. It might seem simple on a first glance, but it is not unfortunately. Truth being told, we have some ideas for the future, but I can't give you more information as we are still considering them.
Cheers

Just received mine in the post. Fitted in about 5 minutes flat and 3 of those were taken up with removing the radio :) The box comes with some really easy instructions that even I could follow!

Have located mine in place of the ashtray as it seams to fit in there pretty snug. A bit of a fettle and a home crafted surround of some kind and it should look perfect.

Hi David. You can remove the shiny chrome-look plastic ring and then paint it matte black if you want. You won't have any problems with the warranty for such modification :) Let us know if you have any questions.

Here's mine:

I bought a USB cable with a right angled plug on it to tidy up the installation.

Hi @eDaniel, I have some Prelude / Infoboard technical queries...

Do you know if the following settings are correct for the 1999+ 5G Prelude with H22A8:
  • Injector size - 240cm3
    Injector cycles - 8
Also, what does the RPM detection setting do?

Hi Adam! The injectors` size should be 280 cc, the cycles are correct.

That was quick Kostadin! Thanks for that, I'll change the settings tomorrow.

@CARRisma

Hi Adam,
I'm currently writing from the beach :)
There are two RPM modes. Normally the Infoboard can detect this but in some cases, on some models it might be better to set it manually. The only car I have seen where the setting can't be detected out of the box is Honda CRV. If set on the wrong mode the rpms will be going in the reverse direction so it should be very easy for you to recognize the correct setting. On some 5th Gen Preludes this might happen (wrong detection) if the device is plugged after the engine is started. That's why it might be better if you set this manually. I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Daniel

Its previous location didn't work for me, so now it's plan B:

I had to buy ANOTHER USB cable for this location. The previous USB cable I bought had a right angled plug. This new one has a left angled plug, so goes downwards instead of upwards. It's also shorter as it doesn't have to go as far.
