Is that with the iso connector disconnected from the back of the radio though? And can you unplug from the back of the voltage meter as well and try then?

Wurly are you free to have a look Sunday at all mate? I know your extremely good with electrics. I haven't done it with the ISO off yet but I know the radio, stereo and voltage meter seem to run off the same fuse and I can't eve put one in because any size I do just blows up straight away. Everything looks good to me, every cable looks tidy and no problems with it.

All I can say is stop putting fuses in because you're wasting them by the sounds of it

As everyone else has said go back and check everything properly. Anyone that's going to help you will start at that points suggested already anyway so you may be able to save yours/someone else's time of you can rule out the simple stuff first.

Yeah i just haven't got a clue. We spent 2 hours trying to find out why it wouldn't work. So it's not like I haven't tried. Everything looks fine to me and my mate, that's why I'm asking for help. :(

Kris, I'm going to be blunt here.

If you don't have a clue, stop trying to correct it as you'll only be making it worse.

Leave the car as it is until either

a) you can find a friend/forum member local who can help
or
b) pay an auto electrician to find the fault for you

It's all very well trying to fix things yourself, I'm all for it, but not if you don't understand what you're doing and the implications.

Electrical shorts are a major cause of vehicle fires, so don't go on the cheap to sort a problem as you could end up with an even bigger bill.

Disconnect your stereo and volt meter making sure all the connections are isolated from each other and the car body. Then put a fuse in and see what happens.

If it still blows its definitely the wiring.

If it doesn't blow its a fault on either your stereo or volt meter.

@gayno I know what your saying mate. And my mate told me he knew what he's doing because he wired his fan up on his lude to a switch. It was all going well until now we can't find out what's wrong with it. So I put everything back to the way it was and the problem is still there.

This is exactly why I'm asking for help from people as I know it can be a problem. There is no fuse in it so no power to anything that's why it's safe, I just need help finding out what the problem is.

@FrontBackSide2Side As I've explained a few times in this post, everything was put back to normal, and I can't put any size fuse in as it blows instantly.
