Hi nafe how do I test this? Take a resistance reading? (As regards to testing the thermo switch)

Plugs had been changed not long after I bought it, the problem was about then too. And I have since upgraded the ht leads. I'll check out the FITV tomorrow, is this usually just a case of screwing in or out?

just cos you changed the plugs and leads a while ago doesn't mean there not at fault buddy change your leads back see if it goes away

There is some really crap ignition gear around these days, that's for sure (distributor caps that are conductive, for example) :roll:
