AC does not come on

Some 4th gens are R134a, at least in France.

OK I am prize kebab. There is nothing wrong with my car, the AC is fine, I just didn't know how it works.

It tuns out that as soon as you move the UKDM temperature slider to its minimum setting it auto switches the AC off :facepalm: I must have been pressing the AC button while the slider was on minimum :lol:

It makes sense about it switching the a/c off - otherwise you could get serious condensation build up/icing on the condensor?
