vtec solenoid differences from h22a h22a5

You need to tighten the VTEC solenoid bolts to 12Nm / 9lb/ft which is fook all.

Have had a lil goose at h22a5 solenoid and it dosent have the green connector on the front. Can i take h22a one of some how? Need a little bit of a how to guide on how to work out mechanical fault or electrical? Sorry for the nubey post. What would you guys do if you were me.

Overtightening could actually cause leaks (damage / overly aquash the seal on a point load, or cause the casing to distort and not give even pressure all over the seal)

The H22a8 dos not have the same green oil pressure sensor but does have a blanking bolt. He should be able to remove the pressure sensor from his H22a and put it on the VTEC solenoid from the H22a5. It wont make any difference if it is the pressure sensor that is goosed (but it isnt giving any codes).

All lights go out when engine starts other than that cat light lol :evil:
Vtec is working again but dont know for how long. Need to get this car sorted but time is allways against me :x
