I think I won't understand show cars, ever. They are all the same - as many TV's as possible, as many audio components as possible, big wheels, big body kit, any non standard colour and interior. That's it.

Do they earn 10x more money they spent for shows or what? :)

No I don't think so. But it does make sense now why people do this stuff to 2.3's or 2.0 Auto's and not the VTEC's - most of these show cars look to be pretty much undriveable around the roads in the UK.

They are undriveable at all, because after drive your exhaust header will change colour, you'll catch some dusts and dirt :) So I think they choose as cheep base platform as possible.

Well, I guess I would partly understand these show cars, if watchers and makers would be less than 16 years old :)
