Fingers crossed.. and hey, at least it's Japanese electronics you're dealing with so it should be easy to sort - imagine if this were a Citroen/Peugeot/Renault forum, you'd be proper fcuked!

You wanna see spaghetti wiring? You should see under the bonnet of my series 1 CX  It's a drokking nightmare!

This is a model that was built for less than a year where they'd rushed the petrol turbo injection engine that was intended for the series 2 Gti Turbo, into the last years build of the Series 1, but it didn't have the internal layout that could accomodate the wiring/ECU, so instead it all ended up in the engine bay...
Honestly, if you looked under the bonnet, you'd swear it was a prototype!!!

(It all works perfectly though! :? )

That's all way more than 25 years ago though...
And as I've said before, I've actually had more electrical problems with my lude than I've ever had with any of my Citroens (only inherrent fault on them is one bloody expensive Bosch relay that runs the fuel pump - sound like a similar inherrent fault another manufacturer started to make 10 years later??? ;) )

All things will fail eventually I guess. My Xsara was rapidly failing faster than everything else though  the door looms may as well have been bone china. To be fair the engine was still running nicely at almost 150k - kind of wish I hadn't sold it now
