Civic Aerodeck for a daily.?

Saw this Civic Aerodeck going for cheap near London.

It's on Civiclife. (might need to be registered to view it)

This is the ES model which means it has...... Leather Seats,
Air Conditioning,
Electric Sunroof,
Electric mirrors,
Headlight washers,
Body coloured handles & mirrors,
Tinted Rear Glass & sun strip on the screen,
Alloy wheels,
Arm Rests front & rear
Rear Electric Windows
Roof Rails.
Mileage: 129,000 (being driven Local so may go up slightly)
Condition: 6/10

GOOD POINTS
TAX----- 30/11/2013.
MOT---- 28/05/2014.
X4 Excellent Tyres,
Sony CD AM/FM Headunit, Full Alarm system with Remote central locking. The Exhaust system has recently been replaced.
Interior in Good condition,
Everything Electrical works as it should,
Air conditioning is cool as a Cucumber,
Number plate Reads S 130N LX

BAD POINTS
The roof has a ratchet strap mark on it,
The N/S/R door has taken a little knock at some point,
The Rear bumper has a small rip in it on the N/S,
The Drivers seat bolster "closest the door" Has worn,
N/S/F Headlight washer is missing,

What do you all think?

To use it as a daily for a while over winter.. It's for sale for only £650 so not that bad,

It sounds like a bargain. go and have a look at it and take it for a test drive

Probably quite a reasonable car.
If this is for a daily though, a hatch would be more economical than an aerodeck I'd have thought? (Might be talking out of my arse there, but seems logical...)

my pal just sold his aerodeck daily it was spot on the whole time he had it looks good after a few mods and made 40mpg (long drives from raf lossie to edinburgh) and that was the vti with the b18 so the 1.6 will be more economical

I have a VTI Aero Nitin, well, the Mrs does.
It's a great workhorse car, though we don't really get any better mpg than a lude TBH.
Certainly comfy enough, practical enough, feels a bit lacking in torque, but goes well when pushed.
It does sound cheap enough, but obviously it may well need a few bushes etc to get it driving nice, due to age.

things to watch out for.
rear discs, pads and calipers. hand brake performance
rear trailing arm bushes.
brake pipes get rusty
sunroof alignment. make sure it opens and closes and the seal fits the roof properly.
power steering belt idler pulley bearings.
alternator bearings
i take it that its the 1.6?
