Scrape off the old crap on the door and then use plumbers mait.

When you come to putting the skin on I offered it up and put the 2 plastic plugs in the top left and top right first, so I knew it was in the right place.
Lisa's the expert with the plumbers mait tbh, not me. It's horribly sticky stuff but she found the knack to handling it!

Clean the door skin and get rid of any old sealant, then to attach the new one, you need a bowl of water and a damp cloth, apply the plumbers mait directly to the door, along the original course, your hands need to be wet when doing this otherwise the plumbers mait will stick to you and become difficult to apply, (I wait to be edited on this
) , the door skin can then be attached
