These have just been launched. They have lost the V shaped tread pattern. Next set of tyres for my 5th gen I think :think:

Same here, the Rainsport 2's looked "sporty". According to that article the 3's will have a stiffer side wall as that was one of the biggest complaints about the 2's. It never really bothered me TBH, I liked the softness the extra load version of the 2's gave on the crappy roads near me. The non-extra load 2's were a bit soft, I took a chunk out of one of the side walls out of them when I had a set.

Nice find! I look forward to seeing how these perform in the real world. In the wet, with rain expert 2's on my civic I can easily out-break the prelude which has toyo proxes. I'm converted to Uniroyal and really want to try out some rainsports when I get another car.

If they grip as well as they did they will be amazing for fast road use not that we drive fast on the road
