Mine done this for a while, would kangaroo while under no load at all, and then once warm, it was fine... So i went mad and bought new dizzy cap, new leads, plugs, changed oil, filters, flushed the systerm with some octane boost and some nitro + vpower, cleaned the injectors, and ran some oil flush before my oil change. Must say, since then... its been gorgeous 8-)

Lambda sensor doesn't start to read until the exhaust has warmed up a bit, mixture runs off the coolant temp sensor until then, so it depends when exactly you have these problems appear.

Check the resistance of the coolant temp when cold and again when it starts hesitating and check for vacuum leaks on the intake side of the engine I suggest.

Cheers it normally starts wen one bar of temperature gauge has come on or sometimes half way but after putting foot down to get past the bogging it then stops but after 4000 revs engine light comes on which i checked code an its one flash

Thats wat i thought but someone told me if it was not a really quick flash it means 10 and thats air temp sensor but ive changed that plus wen someone at work broke my lamba sensor i run it for a week without one an it never did it then thats why im not sure its the used one i now have in there

The code could be an old one. If I were you I would reset the ecu. If the problem is still there take the code again, and go from there.

If it does it when the temp is up to half way, then it should be running on the lambda sensor by then to control the mixture.

Probably still worth checking out what I said anyway.

If you're going to change the lambda sensor again, you might as well wait until you put the new downpipe on rather than have the aggro of trying to get an old one out of the old downpipe.
