Tried and tested.

I now have two of these for the house. super bright and totally amazing. the best torch I have ever had. Makes 4:30am muddy field and horse work a doddle. Under the car and in nthe4 engine you can see EVERYTHING. I even found an oil leak on the volvo with this that I missed with the maglight.

They are powered buy 18650 LiPo batteries so you will need to buy two of those but it gives loads of light for ages. Buy 4 and rotate them. These are 18mm by 65mm so they are proper man batteries. No one I'v shown it and them to has not been impressed, especially for the price.

this is the biggest bad ass one but eats batteries.

Both have a wicked little red led pad at the back so are perfect for bike lights etc.

@wurly: I didnt have it then :( I will however get a little video this evening so you can all see the awesome power of this 10£ torch.

I have the bikelight version of this, it's like your own personal sun. Bit directional for car work though IMO.

:D yes very personal sun like ;)

I'v not had a problem with it yet on the cars. Maybe the bike one has a slightly different lense? Working about 2.5' away gives you a very focused light in the center of about 8'' and diffuse light all around. The only issue I have had is its too bright close up but it has a 1/2 power function so you can solder etc without blinding yourself.

Mine has Full, Med and Low brightness, and holding the button for 3 seconds gets you Full on Strobe mode - or 'Epilepsy Test' as I've dubbed it.

It's deffo a cracking light for the money 8-)

I get full 1/2 then epilepsmode by half pressing the button on the back. Totally the best money I ever spent on a torch given the construction, cost nd effectivness.

I also have one of these for really making it daylight. Quality of construction is stggering for the money. ets two 8650's in 25 mins though  so you need the three battery addon.
