MOT doh!

Post by wurlycorner » Mon Dec 30, 2013 12:36 am

last week, I booked Lisa's lude in for an mot at 0930 tomorrow (/today) and it's about an hours drive away in rush hour traffic. Car hasn't been out on the road since the mimms monsoon. Earlier this evening I decided to give it a pre-check over on the drive, just to make sure all was hunky-doory... Tyre needed pumping up, fog light bulb needed changing (had a spare), all sorted :10:

Went to the pub for a couple of drinks with a mate, got home and thought I'd better swap the cars round before it frosts, so I don't have to defrost 2 in the morning (Lisa's was buried at the back of the drive)...

I'd forgotten the 4ws is shagged and I also have to swap the plates.
:tosser:

Early one for me in the morning then, digging round in the shed for the plates and hoping that frantically slaving in a spare 4ws ecu works!

Patience, patience... It's only just gone on the ramp!

My money's on the usual bloody rear brakes, if anything. Possibly suspension joint or Cv gaitor (everything rubber on this car is pretty perished).

But who knows?!
