oil change quantity help??

Hi i have searched the forum but can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for, I'm changing my engine oil in my 5th gen lude, the cars going to be used for fast road and track work so i have decided on fuchs titan pro s which i have used in my evo for many years, the grade i have decided on is 5/40 fully but not sure on the quantity i require??
any help would be much appreciated. :D

H22? Mine takes just over 5 litres. Though you'd be best getting more for the inevitable top ups.

I'm always changing oil+filter. Never filled more than about 4.5ltr. Usualy this 0.5 I have to use to top up before next change. So it's a must to buy 5ltr can IMHO.

As said, should be no more than 5 litres if its just a filter change and drain from the sump plug. you should have anything up to 1/2 litre left for top ups after a few drives and checking the levels again.

Answered anyway, but if you check in the wiki-lude section you'll find links to download the full Honda service manual for 4th and 5th gen. That will answer any questions like this :D

ok thanks dude appreciate it. change my mind on the oil I've gone for fuch titan 10/40 closer to factory recommended :mrgreen:
