Hello everyone, my old Prelude is exactly where it was when I started this thread but I have now finally transferred the custom plate so nothing is holding things back any more. I'd rather someone made use of the car - even if only for parts - rather than getting it scrapped. The engine is in good nick, as is the gearbox.

Hi all - I simply want to avoid scrapping her - so the scrap value is £150. The engine is in good condition; not missed a beat and has only done just under 100K miles. The timing belt was changed not that many miles ago (at least the second time - there is full history documentation available as I have had the car from new). The 4WS works but is temperamental; mechanically fine but the control box needs some attention. The bodywork is poor but the interior is not bad - all the instrumentation works. A couple of bulbs behind the aircon/heating controls need replacing. The Aircon doesn't work - may only need regassing. Exhaust is ok - no blows. Am really under pressure to get her shifted by my wife. Am in Hemel Hempstead Herts.

I hope this gets taken by someone as a cheap project. If I had the space or dosh I'd make it a cheap track car.

Thanks everyone - the car has been sold and I'm pleased to say that the new owner is looking to restore her and I am looking forward to seeing her back to her best some time in the future
