If that's a non power steering mk2 Golf then that guy has knees of steelmills wrote:![]()
Saw this on the news last night. I've steered with my knees before but only when I've been stuck in very slow moving traffic, never at 60mph though, fook that![]()

Yeah, what he did was ill advised and mildly dangerous, but I feel they've really thrown the book at him here. I've almost been in high speed crashes just because some daft old bat can't judge if it's safe to pull out or not - where's her driving ban??

you really should think things through in the big scheme of things it might seem silly to you but what if everyone suddenly thought its ok why not.
Unfortunately the country is full of idiots now who need to be told not to do stuff that's why they have warnings like it may contain nuts on bags of salted peanuts.

You have yours opinion which I respect but I see it different way. Nothing has happened and the guy was far away from being dangerous. I do agree and they also teach me differently he shouldn't drive like this.
On the other side everyday starting your engine you are becoming potential killer or victim and nothing and nobody can change it. It's not smart to try your luck every time youre behind steering wheel but no risk no fun. Also we don't know why he did it so I wouldn't charge him so easily.
Driver paid his punishment not because he was driving like this but because he let some "smart policeman" who wanted to shine/get promotion etc filmed himself. If he had tinted windows all this wouldn't happened and the same "smart policeman" wouldn't even think about the way how the guy is driving his car. If you look only for his car forgeting about driver can you see anything abnormal?

if you want fun there is a time and place buddy. I enjoy driving but that's got nothing to do with fun its dangerous and why does it matter who filmed him or caught him, if I saw him I would get whoever was in the car to film him and then report him. Also why does it matter if he had tints or not whether you can see him do it or not its dangerous if you were meant to drive with your knees our bodies and cars would look a lot different.K30DPC wrote:mercutio wrote:REALLYK30DPC wrote:OMFG what a big big offence. There is no excuse for what he has done buddy that day he got away without hurting himself or others the next tim he might not and I wonder if you would be so blasé if it was your car or your family hurt by him.
