Battery neg in the passenger side boot to clean metal chassis on one of the rear headlight bolts. 0awg. Noticed some blue electode material on this now.
Transmission to chassis where original battery would be.
Valve cover front & JRSC powersteering block both to front slam panel.
Run an extra earth from the thermostat housing to body, maybe even worth running a cable to the battery itself.

Just tightened the battery terminals down and loosley put a few extra wires from some points on the block to the chassis.
Not really made much difference.
Its almost starting. Its like its not firing on all cylinders and the misfire is causing it to not fully start and when you go through the cranking cycle and it gets to that cylinder that misfires.

So irritating. The grounds arnt different from before and it just suddenly decided to stop starting one day whilst searing for vacuum leaks.

Wizards of nos do an ignition strength tester, about 13 quid. Ok your not running nos but at least it will rule out ignition as the problem. If it cant burn nos whats the chance it will burn an forced induction charge?

Im going to see if i can check the resistance of the TDC/CKP sensor? This is all i can think off now.
Again no CELs.

Just learnt these sensors are inside the td89u dizzy. The tanks have them under the oil pump. So simpler job for us lot. I think a new dizzy unit will help.

Seriously Ratty, just try my suggestion about jumping directly onto the engine from the battery of another vehicle while that's running. That will tell you if it's anything to do with earths/battery supply voltage within your car or not.

Battery is a stinger svp44 it hold it'd voltage right to the end. The ground are fine since I have eliminated any noise in my audio system and you know how I am with car audio. Ground were fine before. Nothing has changed.

But I'll give it ago of course.

Success. Sort of.

Swapped the main dizzys over. Same copper plugs and i think my greddy is unplugged and after much cranking and almost starting i put my foot down and it kicked it. and ran on its own.

YAY..

But wait....

Vacuum still says -15. Oil pressure was at 85 and climbing so thats good.

A/F rations were at 17 and climbing to 20.
It would idle high and the engine started jumping slightly like when you unplug the IACV and as i blipped the throttle it fell on its feet and died INSTANTLY.

Im pretty sure my timming is out now after swapped the dizzy over. I tried to get it as the same but im not sure how accurate it has to be.

Im going to plug some new original none platinum plugs in. Plug the greddy EMU back in so it corrects the injectors sizes and see how it goes.

Cant do much now there is a massive storn overhead and its hailing very heavy. Much dentyness on roof i suspect.

if it dies after you rev it it is either a bad earth or a vacuum issue where's @Bri when you need him

It cant possibly be either. Earths are fantastic they always have been and i have sealed this system sooo much with gasket papaer and liquid. Iv had the charger off 3 times now to seal it.
It something else.
