Thats a good point, il double check the bolts for the inlet manifold etc as well, that happened to my mini air was coming in through the gasket and it ran stupidly lean lol
The VSS is over the diff on the gearbox mate, piccy's below:

if that's a 4g they go to the steering rack to give you speed sensitive steering and they carry power steering fluid

It's a 2g, but Merc is correct - I had a thread up about them a few weeks back as I had no clue what they were first time I saw them either :lol:

Im guessing thats what there for as the 2g has that too :D

Didnt have a chance to look at it today, too busy closing down my marine tank :(
just out of curiosity for when i check it, hopefully at work tomorrow, how does the speedo work on this? sorry to sound stupid lol, makes it easier to check for problems :D

Haha found the issue, all it needed was the idle screw adjusting :L it was almost all the way in so I undid it a bit waited for it to warm up and wound it out till it was idling at 800-850 rpm :) been driving for a couple of months like that and it was was the idle screw :lol: oh well haha that's another thing sorted!
