I hope this is the right section.
I have a 1998 Honda Prelude 2l manual gear box.
My Window wiper does not work when you push it down nor does it work on the fastest setting.
Any one else came across a similar problem?
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

'Mist' (when you pull it down) is fast speed wipe, so your two faults are likely to be the same problem.
Looking at the wiring diagram, everything returns out of the switch to the same single ground, so it can only be something in the motor itself or between the wiper and the switch, or the switch.
Could be the fast coils are burnt out in the motor but that's unlikely. Most likely either dodgy connection at the motor, or a switch fault I reckon.
Suggest you pull the connector off the motor and check the contacts are clean/tight as the first step.
