Engine Oil 94 2.2 vtec?

As you guys have been playing with Ludes for years, can you suggest the best engine oil for my 94 2.2 Vtec? How much will I need to do a full change?
I have ordered a K&N high flow oil filter and a set of NGK PZFR6F-11 plugs ready for a full service.

I use a Hamp oil filter and 5l of Millers CFS 10-60

The book will tell you 10-40 semi synth. 4.8L I believe. I ran that for many years and miles.
Some will suggest that oil has moved on, and that you should use a fully synth, such as as 0 or 5-40, that's what I'm using now but that's on a brand new engine.

You pays your money and takes your pick, but 10-40 semi was the original recommendation

If it's an old engine with a decent amount of miles on it, stick with original spec 10w-40 semi.
If it's a new re-build then go with fully synthetic.

It's worth noting that the H22 oil pump failures on here have been running 5w-40 (with 3 of them running Fuchs, IIRC?).

Thanks guys, I went for a semi 10w-40 as I don't really know the history of the engine and it's got just under 100k on it.

Is a litre of brake fluid enough to replace the old fluid in all of the lines?

In theory 1ltr is fine yes. But I'd go with 2 litres to be sure you've bled all the old crap through.
