What are peoples opinion on the tail pipes sizes? I want twin tail pipes, like what I've got now. I think the style is described as having a rolled inner lip? Here's my current standard exhaust tail pipes:

The eagle eyed amongst you may notice that they actually stick out about an extra inch compared to standard, that's because I've inserted an extra bit of pipe in there of the same diameter as the exhaust pipe to extend them. So they're a little longer but otherwise the same.
The outside diameter of the shiny bit is 3". The diameter of the inner pipe is 2". I would like the shiny bit to go all the way back to the rear silencer box with no gap, so doesn't look like a bolted on after thought.
If I go for 2x 3" pipes from rear silencer box to tip, they would be 1" larger than standard. Is there any disadvantage to this? Would this be detrimental to performance? Would this be too noisy or could that be compensated for with the silencers?
Another option is 2x 3" pipes from rear silencer box to tip, but with a narrower pipes inside, like the standard setup, but maybe with 2x 2.5" pipes inside instead?
