@Dino doesn't rate Exedy clutches..but I can't remember why? Maybe he can tell us what he does recommend, and why..

What clutch you got in there currently?

There are a lot of fake Exedy clutches knocking about, especially on Ebay.

ATM I have a Competition Clutch Stage 5 four puck clutch kit.

800 miles (yup eight hundred). But unconfirmed that it is the actual clutch plate that has failed. http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/honda-p ... 11275.html

I am taking it out tomorrow and the purpose of this thread was for me to have an idea what I could get my hand on if the worst has happened and my clutch has failed. I don't have a lot of time to muck about (car due in Aberdeen on sat for a cage to be installed which takes around 3 weeks to install + less than 8 weeks until racing starts and I have loads of prep still to do :() so ideally want to be primed with the info I need.

Hope things are ok with the clutch Al. Hopefully can get sorted.

Crunchy; Yup seen a few exeddy clutches die very quickly including paddle items and open face ones.

Personally, if i was on the market for a clutch, id go for an ACT.

Really surprised about the CC clutch.
