No not really. If your constantly trying to follow and try and catch the car up in front then everyone ends up doing the same getting greater and greater in speed on roads we Dont know. If you cruise and make sure the car behind is in view you will be fine. Since your facing forwards naturally you will follow the car in front.

We all drive quick cars so what you trying to prove?
