Glad to hear the claim has finally got settled. I had a similar thing happen with my first (non fault) claim, got dragged out for a year and they only caved in the night before court.
Cost of the effect on your premium should be taken into account in the settlement if you ask for it, surely?
Check to make sure they update the insurance database with 'non fault' claim though - bastards can be very bad at that imo and you'll find it gets stuck logged as a fault claim...
