 You are itching to play with your welder, aren't you? I agree though, 1-1.5" longer would be perfect. :hurr:

I think this is the case with a lot of 5th genners with this fitted, all over the US forums and in all pics I've seen of it it appears to sit short. It seems the Evo2 was designed with the one spec in mind, and then an adapter like so:

...was supplied to allow it to be fitted to other spec on the same model. The above is a Greddy manufactured adapter that comes with the exhaust (or is purchased additionally - can't figure out which) in the US to allow it to be extended to fit the base model. Without the adapter is for the SH. I imagine this isn't strictly a USDM thing but it's where all the info is coming from. Read a bit more tonight and it's the same deal for the Civic and Impreza.

That all said, this is a 4G exhaust  but I can't see there being any difference between 4G and 5G from the Greddy factory other than hanger locations.

Does anyone know what's through those holes? (The three in a row) I presume they're just plastic caps or something? Didn't want to mess around with them til I know what's on the other side.

That hanger will move in line with them once a few rubbers have been tweaked... I'm sure some of you have cottoned on to what I'm saying.

I'm busy baking a lemon meringue roulade  I will have a look later if no one posts in the mean time though.

Cheers newkid 8-) it is a beautiful looking exhaust and it does sound brilliant. Fairly quiet when you need it to be as well actually.

There should not really be anything under those rubber caps, they are there typically for 3 reasons; allowing access for cavity waxing, allowing access to the back end of captive nuts in the floor and as alignment reference points for when the car is on a jig.

I had a hanger missing but everything is nice and tight so I don't think it is an issue. Has your exhaust place had issues then?

I can take pictures tomorrow if needed?
