4g 1992 2.3l 4ws manual. Is it Rare?
I have a 1992 2.3l 4ws manul with 103k miles in good condition. I cant find another anywhere in the country of the same spec.
The Auto version seems to be going for around £1500. Would it not be worth more than that?
Is it worth more because its rare? any ideas/comments much welcome
Thanks guys
Andy

I don't think I've seen a 2.3 with 4ws but I'm only in the Lude game a few years and drive a 5th gen, I find if you can get a manual you are as well off I think the autos give trouble, yours sounds like it might be a Jap import

Mine started life as a 2.3 with 4WS, till the balancer shaft seal crapped it and I dropped a JDM VTEC lump in it. You should have a BB2 chassis code, and all the toys usually reserved for the VTEC boys

Manual 2.3's were pretty common but are not now, because the 2.2 vtec is by far the more sought after engine.
I used to own a manual 2.3 and it's a fine engine - I was very happy with it. All 2.3's were 4ws AFAIK.
There's at least 2 of you on here with that spec now (Doug being the other that I know of).
You'd find very few Prelude enthusiasts queuing up to buy a 2.3 so no, despite the rarity they don't attract a premium. When it comes to 4th gens, the premium seems to go to white, manual, vtec, BB4's with LSD, if anything?

Thanks for the responses guys.
I thought it was probably nothing special but I got a bit excited when I couldn't find any others in the country for sale
Id would rather have H22a in but 2.3 seems like a decent engine? and it probably wouldn't be worth it?
Once again... Thanks for the reply's people.
