Courtesy cars

You may all remember my time in a 1 litre Peugeot 107 last summer, well I've surpassed that experience and am now driving a Porsche Fiesta 1.2.

Thought it would be interesting to hear people's experiences -I've started you off so, best and worst courtesy cars you've ever had then......go!
2009 Porsche Cayman S (gen II)
1995 Honda Prelude 2.2 VTEC (UKDM)

 I can't believe they've plastered that in massive Porsche logo's!!!

I had a black Metro Mayfair as a courtesy car once. It was actually... excellent fun to drive! I really liked it! :D

Best Honda courtesy car - current model Jazz
Worst Honda courtesy car - Civic FN Si (cool car and nice enough place to be, but utterly gutless)

The Worst = Mondeo TDCi like the one below:

The interior was made from recycled plastic yoghurt pots and the seats appeared to be designed specifically to cause back pain. Hated that car with a passion.

Most recently, I ended up with this:

Not utterly terrible, but gutless and has an awful CVT gearbox, so it just gets to an annoying loud droning part of the rev range and sits there as it accelerates. Was glad to see it go!

Worse - Vauxhall Astra. So crap that my son wouldn't let his teddy sit in it and left him at home. The teddy went EVERYWHERE with him, but he wouldn't let it in the Astra.

Worse experience - Hyundai Accent Coupe 1.5 GLS in white. I was leaving a car park and a bloke in another car was tooting his horn and waving his arms at me like he wanted sex with me. I couldn't work out why as i didn't know him. Then the penny dropped. He was also driving a white Accent Coupe and had mistaken me as fellow car fan. The shame.

Never mind the shame... You're among friends, you can admit with impunity that the biggest disappointment about it was when you realised your luck wasn't in with him after all, right? :hurr:

I've only ever had one courtesy car, back in 2003 when I had a 'Lude resprayed, it was a 1993 Proton 1.5 GLS ..it was shocking, so bad I drove it home and just left it there until my car was ready.
