I've always been an England supporter (the football team 'on the pitch', not the kebabs that travel round the world lagering up and trashing bars in their name) almost regardless of how crap they've been, but tbh I am completely and utterly disinterested in watching them this world cup.
London 2012 just finally put it into perspective and I'm utterly fed up with our over paid lazy bastards that can't be arsed that they're playing for their 'country'. Such massive personal under performers, only interested in raising their personal profile and earning ability.
The only reason I'm at all looking forward to watching the first England game is because completely out of the blue, I've been invited to a free body lemonade up and feed up (networking event
) at a posh bar in central London to watch the match
ps I like cricket. Prefer big tests to 20/20 but yes, great way to introduce to the sport.

when it comes to sport
never interested me.
This is one of the reasons i gave up smoking, at work, in the smoking shed all it was, was talk about chelsea and man u, blah blah. BORING. and mainly those glory hunters that have never bean to a game in their lives. although i have been to a local derby game, swindon/oxford also when in portugal i got offered tickets to portugal v northern ireland that was quite fun although one bloke in black kept spoiling the fights on pitch, afterward we went to porto and stumbled upon an irish bar, we started drinking there and the irish team turned up and i got bought a drink by a player who lived in swindon at the time.
