I love the dc5 but they r so overpriced, get a lude type s instead....
And I've never lost to an ep3, they always struggle with their ivtec... Interesting how the s2000 nvr had ivtec...
But at the end of the day, it's your choice...dc5 in white with white wheels and red interior.... Colours of the rising Sun... Most desirable one...

I think DC5s look best in metallic blue myself. DC2's in white or yellow...

I tried hard to like DC5's, as I thought I might buy one a few years back before getting the lude back up to scratch.
I dont think they are a bad car by any means, none of those mentioned TBH and as said in real world terms, you usually need quite a big power difference to pull away at speed.
The real sticker for me though was the looks. From some angles I think they look great, but from the side, they seem so slab sided and 'high' after years at looking at a 4th gen lude.
Not to mention how the H22 really does take some topping.

Wow...one day I have left this thread and everyone is going for it lol. Thanks for all the input it has really made me think instead of just buying one because of its status. I really like the dc5 as a all round car but if it isnt goimg to be any better to drive than my bb4, which eats ep3's, 5th gens and fn2's with ease. I thought the dc5 would be slightly quicker than a bb4 and quite alot faster than a ep3 if im honest. Im alil shocked.
The reasons in my head for spending that kind of money is that I should be able to get it back at the other end, as they seem to be rising in value. All the while I will be in a iconic, very desired, honda that is on par with a dc2 performance wise. Or thats what I thought intill you guys burst my bubble.
