paul, i know that its your 1st lude and it holds alot of sentimental attachment, i know how you feel, i wish so badly that i never got rid of my old 4th gen, but like you mine was an auto, but worse, mine was a 2.0i auto. but i had acomplished so much. but to progress i feel you need to move on. liken yourself to anakin skywalker at the point of him pulling himself up the bank of the lava, all battered and beyond all recognition. he progressed to darth vader, its time you move on to the dark side, i thought that i would never own a 5th gen, but what a difference in car. admitedly they dont look as nice as the 4th gen front, but they have a better rear than the 4th. and so many other plus points. in my opinion

bigger inside.
2 cup holders,
bigger door pockets,
folding rear seat,
a glove box that holds more than a rizla.
roomier inside.
people can fit in the rear that have feet and legs.

get yourself a h22a8 vti 5th, enjoy your memories, rob the bum droppings out of your old lude and move on.

:D :D 8-)

thanks paul, now what you need to do is work out how much you have to buy a lude.
in my opinion, if i were to buy another lude, it wouldn't be a type s. not for any bad reason though, just for the cost of running and insuring.
write a list of what you want and bear in mind that any jdm model are at least twice the price to insure.
1, 2.2vti h22a8 red top. ukdm
2, no rust, check the lower rear sills and around the jacking points and rear arches.
3, auto or manual, bear in mind the manual will be slightly more economical and the auto box is made of chocolate.
4 good paint, especially the lacquer, honda lacquer tends to peal.
5, service history and cam belt change. although our ludes are not worth a great deal, service history isnt a biggy.
6, 4ws lights then goes out. (if fitted)
7, has the red key if a later 2000 model.
8, the beige interior is yukky.

oh, can i have the sunroof back? how much inc delivery?
