well, i had finished the brakes, went to pump them one leg in one leg out and it just snapped clean round the side of my leg.
after that i got the missus to assisting in the pumping and it all came out lovely, so well chuffed with that.
pics will follow after i get out of work later, wing mirrors are proper PITA, decided i will spray the mirror side and just wrap the cap.

i got a bubble, thought about just making a cut to release the trapped air, it was tiny and i wish i had not bothered tbh but it was bugging me so i went to re wrap it and kaboom, its going to be a sanding fest to get the rest off then rewrap.duckface wrote:Hey man, I was about to say good skills on the wrapping...how comes you took it off the wingmirrors? Meh, can't see the mirrors so well but its basically black paint with enamel blue dustings followed by a good helping of clear, till I get another 5m of wrap then I will go at them again, till then

Re: Patience is a virtue
I was up to no good, playing around with the carbon and some trim tape and decided I wanted to do the lighter as its not worked since I got it, I take it apart and find this??

see that? weird unconnected wire from something going nowhere??
then this....

I know right?! its all melted and exposed?! so I wonder what it clips into as its just swinging about like a limp todger, can't find anything to plug it into? Any one had someone bodge it and scarper? Can anyone help me in my hour of need?
then I did this, not worked out as I had imagined tbh but I will live with it until I have a fit of hate and rage......

Need some slightly better pics to see what's gone on there, but if that exposed wire end was live and it touched the metal chassis in there, that could have caused the insulation to overheat and melt like that.
There is a 'holder' for a plug in your first photo - that white thing is what the oem wiring plugs slide onto to keep them in place instead of flapping around, so it's possible that plug was always meant to be there and spare but some muppet has buggered about with it and left it flapping about and that's what's caused you these problems...
