If this is for your mate, did you find out if it's a H22a5 or H22a8? That will make a difference to the exhaust system.

He says it just says h22a. Mybe someone has put a jap engine in it?

What engine was the car built with? (on the VIN plate).

If it was an H22A8 and the engine has been swapped for an H22 but they retained the complete A8 exhaust system, then the 4g exhaust would not fit straight on (wrong length).

If it was an H22A5 and they retained the original system off that, then the 4G system should fit straight on, but you'll need to modify one of the hangers on the back box.

That's my understanding, anyway.

Hopefully our resident 5g exhaust expert @Donald will be along shortly to confirm or abuse me for talking bum droppings...
