Make sure all the nuts atop the tappets are there and that none of the tappets look massivly out

Just checked and everything seems ok although the cam belt seems a fraction loose?! And the sound almost seems like its coming from under the cambelt cover on the side??

Although a garage down the road just told me it sounds like the small end bearings have gone :/

Sod it im building a new engine! This ones compression ratio is disappointing anyway! :(
