My thoughts, I thought main relay issues only really affected 4ths and normallu when the cars been running.

main relay affects both 4th and 5th gens the ignition switch would more than likely have just as much trouble when cold as hot and would stop the engine even when driving I had it happen to me on the motorway :shock:

That sucks!

Once the car is running it stays running so don't think it could be that?

Where is the main relay located on the 5th gen? Is it up under the drivers side of the footwells?

Sorry to hijack thread but my 5g sometimes fires up and then dies and then the other day she just cut out while driving :o :o :o pulled over then fired her straight up and off we went! 4ws light came on a for a Min b4 happened Any ideas could this be relay?
If it looks like jobby and smells like jobby it probably is jobby!

Yep, sounds like ignition switch from what I've read on here.
Check with Honda if your car had the recall they did, seems to be the first suggestion (worth trying for a free fix ;) ).
