Mapping on a 5g isn't a basic mod unfortunately - it means changing the ecu (crome, hondata, aem etc.)
:? Unless I've misunderstood previous comments on the forum and stretched my limited 5g knowledge too far there :scaredtoss: someone that knows help me out? Merlin???

Same as a 4th gen then  Only difference is you need a conversion harness from obd2a(if memory serves me right) to obd1

Not quite the same... on a 4th gen you can buy a ready re-mapped chip from Rob and stick that in for about 20 quid all in... Magnitude of cost difference and ease.
