Yeah but you can stainless weld with mig no problem, it's all I use. I can't remember the wire size or gas to use but google search will sort you out.

Aluminium should be tig'd but you can get ally wire for mig.... No idea how that would go!

Places like powerflow and long life just mig everything. It does the job but doesn't look as sexy as tig ;)

Dropped my car off with Alan at Solid Fabrications yesterday.

Decided on a full 3" system to replace my current setup, also as 2.75" wasn't available. Hopefully should release a little extra power and give plenty of room for future tuning.

Phil and I saw one on a type s over jae weekend (not at jae). Was a lovely exhaust 8-)

Back in the day when i had a BB4 it came from Japan with a Tanabe cat back system which i seem to remember being 2.5 inch, when it died i replaced it with a 2.25 inch and the performance definitely dropped off afterwards

@SPYDOR, lots of videos please!! I will be getting the custom 2.5" exhaust made up soon. But if the sounds is meaty then I might just get the 3" done! :twisted: :twisted:
