All goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover ;-) :P

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/V-Reg-Honda-P ... 566701d2f1
2.0 auto, doesn't say if it has mot or not, £495

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1997-HONDA-PR ... 43cb33735d
2.0 Manual, Mot till June '15, £695 advertised price, I'm sure you'd get the dealer down to at least £650...

Just saying, Peachy I'm sure you can get yourself into a reasonable 5th gen for that money if that's what you want.

Don't the auto boxes on 5th gens have a rep for being a bit unreliable?? I'm sure that there are solid ones out there but if you're aiming to spend as little as possible then the chances are you're going to end up with one which might not have been looked after as well as it should :?

I should probably add that I've no hands on experience of an auto 5th, so somebody more informed might want confirm that, but I'm sure I've read posts stating that they're not as reliable as the 4g auto boxes.
