Nothing wrong with the music etc, but it was prententious bollocks about how you 'looked' that entirely dictated door entry (or not) that was absolutely drokking Clubbing Eddy.farlow wrote:Yeah, what is wrong with crasher ?
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

BIGMANTING!
or
metrotime
You choose....
I was never so keen on the crasher music. too boppy, poppy and mainstream for my tastes. I was at Don valley stadium for Gatecrasher millenium though so I guess I'll get me coat
Twas the summer of trance though. Oh those halcyon days.

Yeah, I was talking about when crasher was at Republic, rather than any of the branded nights that came after.
Went a few times to real crasher nights then after being treated like a rhubarb one night, I voted with my pound and have refused to buy anything crasher related since...
Also the hype around Judge Jules did my bloody head in, it must be said. He's a nice guy I liked hearing him on the radio (Kiss, before Radio 1) and cause he was big, he got sent great music, but he's actually always had bugger all DJ skills!
I do think it would be hillarious to be represented by him as your lawyer now that he's gone back to doing it these days

You've all lost me with the talk of different dj's and club scenes, I never even understood what House and Garage wasa all about, and that was eons ago, however, going back to the manbag, moisturiser part of the debate, all reminds me of a Python song : 'All together now' ... I'm a lumberjack, and I'm O.K. I sleep all night and I work all day, I wear high heels.....etc...
