I don't think he was a forum person. :?

I could have just took out the rings for free if I asked him nicely as he was eager to give most of it for free.. :o

Why not!! :(

Google said it was 1hr 30 mins to get there but took me 2hr 10 mins  as the traffic on a40 and M25 was just a joke. But was worth it. 8-)

nitin, could you possibly get a volt meter and work out what wires from your loom are live power from the battery and what ones are switched live from the ignition and what one is earth, also please could you take some pictures of the wire connectors and wire colours. im still trying to fix the one from gordon.

also, do you have the owners contact details? @nitin_s1

Sam I don't have a volt meter :( and I want to have the whole thing in the car as soon as possible as i don't get time to work on the car (as I'm working long hours now).

You can have the wiring connectors from behind the sat nav unit (as I simply chopped off from the donor car), that might help you figure out which wire goes where.

Yes he can have them after Sam has finished with them.. :!:

The wiring loom is integrated in to the car so it would be near impossible to take the whole thing out. What I did to save my time and the person who was breaking it was just chopped off at least 5 cm away from the connectors, this would give more then enough room any extra connections/soldering by anyone.
