That would be good Phil

cant really take photos of what is missing and the pic on prelude power cant be copied

if you follow the link - you will see its the small looms at each end of the main loom - one goes to a side indicator bulb on drivers side and the other goes to a blue fuse.

Yep, definitely don't have that bit on my spare loom that's destined for Lisa's

Will still check the BB4 later on today to see if that has it or has been wired up differently somehow...

EDIT: I'm wrong... Mine does have that connector, but it doesn't have the blue fuse holder thingy;
On this photo it's on the right hand side

I've photographed mine with the loom going the other way. It's the 2 connectors sat right below the control box

Looking at it, I don't think you need both A and B?
Part B is just a feed up to the sidelight on the opposite side of the car. I guess 'as built' this new loom would be put in instead of the normal sidelight loom. But as a retro-fit, if you leave your original sidelight wiring in place for that side, you don't need it???

In case I do need those bits after all... It looks like I have part B on the loom I got from you, but not part A. Do you possibly still have that bit on the car???

You need both of them.
Part A is supplying voltage for cornering lights. It take it from fan relay visible on pic (already on all our cars so only loom with blue fuse holder needed) This loom can be made. All you need is connect a wire to +12V from fan relay and through IIRC 3A fuse go to cornering lights loom. But ori one is more sexy and lot easier to use.
Part B is connected to parking light and is telling your corner lights control unit when your lights are on or off. Without this CU will think that your lights are off so it will never fired up cornering lights. Also easy to be made, but again reducing down JDMness of your car

Same area from the BA8, showing the space where the blue fuse holder should go.

So Part A just provides power and you can pick that up without needing the original loom, if you're not bothered about originality or protection of the fan circuits from overload caused by a fault on the corner light circuits.
I'm missing Part A from my spare setup.
I think you don't actually need to get the black relay in your pic of Part A, because you'll already have that on your car (it's the existing fan relay).

Part B you do need - that's the bit that picks up the signal to tell the corner light control unit that the sidelights are on (and that the corner lights need to work)

Forgive me, but I'm intrigued as to how these corner lights are supposed to operate.

Aren't they just in parallel with the indicators, or is it more complicated? What do they do?

They come on with the indicator (that one side only) when the sidelights and the indicator are on, but they don't blink like the indicators, they stay on. That's the reason for the control box rather than being directly in parallel with the indicators.
