They charge £15.99 for phone line rental per month.mercutio wrote:Virgin probably wouldn't be much more with the phone line included
But...
They do broadband only plus a mobile sim for £31.50 a month all in, where that mobile gives you unlimited minutes and texts (plus 250MB mobile data) per month, so that's a far cheaper way of having broadband and a phone line.

I too would recommend Plusnet. I know Paul may have had a bad experience with them, but I'm sure no company is 100%
The main point for me when it comes to any service, but especially broadband, is "where is the call centre?". If you have any sort of problem with your broadband service and you get put through to India, they don't understand what the problem is and you go around in circles.
Plusnet are UK based, and as such, I will use and recommend them. I had a fault, I ran diagnostics (it helps as I work in IT) and they sent a BT engineer straight out without faffing about.

I'm currently with BT Infinity Option 2, but I'm led to believe there are better deals out there.
My bill breakdown per month are as follows;
I have quite a good speed at 23.43 Mbps. Unlimited downloads!
- Line Rental = £15.99
BT Answer 1571 = £1.75
Broadband = £28.15
Calls costing over 40p = £2.50 approx.
Total cost per month = £48.39![]()
I don't have/need a TV package.
Who are you with, how much does it cost and are they any good?
Many thanks.
all i will say is:
NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER GET BROADBAND FROM TALK TALK.
Worst company ever (and I've worked for them).
Avoid them like the plague!
