Muffins

Post by wurlycorner » Sat Oct 11, 2014 11:11 am

I ordered a windscreen removal kit on Wednesday, so I can get the glass out of the breaker this weekend and get shot of the shell (I need the space back :scaredtoss: )
They estimated their standard delivery to be by Monday but offered special delivery (next day by 11am) so I paid extra for it. It was marked as despatched and tracking info added on Wednesday.
Not here by yesterday, so I checked the tracking number... The kebabs have sent it drokking recorded instead of special

So no tracking, no guarantee of delivery (and taking this long, my guess is they've even sent it second class recorded!)
FFS

NOT bloody happy!

And it's still not here this morning (not sure if post has been yet though tbh)

e-mailed them last night but no reply yet... They have a mobile number on their contact details, so they can be expecting a call when I know for sure it hasn't turned up today!!!

20 minutes after writing this, I got fed up waiting and went and got in the shower.
Just put shampoo on my (head, since I don't have much hair left) and... Post at the door
Missed him. Card through the door, at local delivery centre.

Leave it till half hour before it closes, to stand best chance of it being back there, then fight my way across town through drokking awful traffic...
They've just moved the Delivery Office. Before, it was in the town centre (so you could walk to it if you wanted) but it still had a car park with about 30 visitor spaces. These were always full of an evening and Saturday.
The new delivery office is on the edge of town, on an industrial estate (so you pretty much have to drive to it).

So... Anyone want to guess how many visitor spaces they have at this one?

(btw, after half an hour queuing, I was told it won't be able to be collected until Monday)
Then had another jobby drive around town trying to buy a kit locally so I could tell the ebay seller to go drokk themselves, give me ALL my money back and leave them with the outward and return postage costs... No go, can't get one locally. So then had another jobby back across town through jobby traffic empty handed.
Completely drokked the weekend.

There's some muffin universal law that covers this, I'm afraid.
I've been waiting most of the week for one tiny bracket so that I can put the Mini back together.

I'm not sure how "Think of the customer as a hurdler thinks of a hurdle: a means to an end. We dazzle him with ice work, we baffle him with bottle work." is going to help :P

No-one going to humour me and have a guess how many visitor parking spaces they've put in?
