Welcome, yep we discussed this one on the forum before, when it went up on eBay.
Glad someone has purchased it with the intention of saving - 2.3 Ludes are a rare thing these days (especially face lift ones, fully loaded with leather etc.) and it's still a good engine (my first 4th gen was a 2.3 manual). The wheels on it looks great, too.

Rot on that one is bad, but just changing the sunroof will be a massive step forward :D and you can buy new rear arch panels off here for a fair price.

It may not be a private plate, but you may still be able to get something for it because it looks like one, so worth a go.

Good luck with it and keep us updated.

Any chance you got the link for the thread discussing it then?

It wasn't a discussion of any use tbh, we were basically all just agreeing that it was the most rusty sunroof we'd ever seen on a lude :D

Haha that it is!!! Nice simply though buy a nicer one swap me out ;) for the arches was just gonna send them to my mate and get him to cut and weld new plates in :)

And yes the wheels are one reason for buying this lol I have a bit of experience returning alloys to say the least so going to enjoy this one ;)

Be aware they will have gone at the bottom as well, once you get the skirts off.
These are panels that cebul sells :hail: ;

He also does the outer sills as well.
