Looking for a new daily drive

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

I don't get it. Why do so many people not want to use their Preludes as dailies?
I can think of three scenarios:-

1. Clearly, if you're doing loads and loads of miles, a medium-sized diesel has its economy advantages.
2. If you're after load space, a Lude just doesn't cut it.
3. Your car is mint and you want to keep it for sunny show days.

But what's wrong with putting mileages on them otherwise?

This isn't a dig, by the way. I simply want to know why my 5G should be protected from the 20k plus miles a year I do.

All 3 reasons for me, plus I have to limit the miles to get an agreed value policy.

That's a 4th reason, then! I didn't think of it.

But now you mention it, when our Mini is back on the road, I might consider limiting the miles. It'll be the first time we've thought of a car as being only for fair weather, but I'll be spending more on it than it's worth and it should turn out to be as much of an investment as it is a hoot.

Perhaps once the mindset is established, the Prelude and the ATR will be seen in the same light.

You have 2 Ludes anyway, so you can always keep one as a daily with no problem :D
